I have served on Quedgeley Town Council for two terms. I resigned after three years in the 90’s having moved away but was re elected after moving back 5 years ago and share Council duties with other organisations I am involved with, including being the Chairman of Help if we Can which raises money for good causes and which has many Patrons and Supporters across the County and beyond. I am also an elected Public Governor of the South West Ambulance Service.
Quedgeley Town Council represents the interests of the residents in Quedgeley, Kingsway and Copeland Park, it is non political and I am proud of the word we do and the targets we achieve. It can be time consuming at times but in the main we have a great team that work well together.
Fortunately my wife supports me in all I do.
I am currently the Chair of the council and I enjoy exercising my duties in this new role and supporting the council in it’s new phase as a Town Council.
